China Sourcing And Procurement Management
Finding a factory is easy. Finding the factory that will still be quoting the same price, to the same specification, on your fourth reorder is the work.
Discuss This ServiceHow Sourcing And Procurement Works Step By Step
Requirement analysis
You send product requirements, specifications and a target budget. We come back within 24 hours with what is realistic and what is not.
Supplier matching
We shortlist from the 300+ factories already in our network, then approach new candidates where the category needs it. Typical matching time is 2–5 days.
RFQ and cost breakdown
Quotations are compared on a like-for-like build, not on headline price. Raw material, labour, overhead and margin are estimated so a suspiciously low quote can be questioned.
Negotiation
Terms are negotiated on the full package — price, MOQ, payment terms, tooling ownership and lead time. Quotation and negotiation typically takes 3–7 days.
Sampling
Samples are produced, shipped and evaluated against a written specification. Sample production typically takes 7–15 days.
Order placement
The approved sample and its recorded specification become the reference document for production and for every inspection that follows.
What You Get Out Of It
- One counterparty instead of a spreadsheet of factories
- A written specification that inspection can actually measure against
- Leverage that survives the second and third reorder
- A documented fallback supplier before you need one
Where This Service Applies
This service runs across every industry we source for. The checkpoints stay the same; what changes is which failure mode they are aimed at.

How long does supplier matching take?
Typically 2–5 days for supplier matching and a further 3–7 days for quotation and negotiation.
Do you charge the factory or the buyer?
TBC — our commercial model is agreed per engagement. We set it out in writing before work starts.
Can you source a product you have never handled?
We have sourced across 60+ product categories. Where a category is new to us we say so and price the additional audit work rather than pretending otherwise.
What if the first factory does not work out?
We keep an audit-ready alternative identified. Having a credible second source is also the single most effective negotiation lever on the first.
